WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Nope. Just someone pushing a shopping cart in the one above.

In the picture I think you are referring to, the cart by the Pearl St sign is a breakfast cart. The ones behind it are likely hot dog carts. I didn't pay attention when I was walking by them, TBH.
I was curious, since we have hot dog carts here in Cleveland as well.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I keep lamenting that how the V20 on an audio level was the best phone for my commute. Loud enough, music was clear.

I keep wanting to try a U11 with the hopes that U Sonic can match it, but there was something to be said to plug in my favorite pair of earbuds and no matter how noisy the train got, I didn't have to rely on max volume to compensate.

It is a dilemma indeed.
I'm still loving the sound on my V20 with my high impedance headphones. 🎧

Just some humour.

I loved that about the V20. The struggle is real indeed. I can take a hit camera wise and get a V30 since I plan to still keep the Pixel 2, but we'll see.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I'll admit, I think I'll be able to work with a XZ2 Compact. I know that I said that the camera improvements aren't amazing, in low light. However, I'll only be willing to do it if I can get one in a much lower price range, with the right plug and also my preferred color. (I know that adapters exist but I don't want to have to use one). Using a different camera app as the main app wasn't too bad on the XZ1C.

However, it doesn't make sense to "work" with a $600 phone. Now why would I do that? I do hope the SE refresh stops me from having to consider this though but we'll see.

The XZ2 Compact has the perfect screen to body ratio, using it felt SO good. In my opinion, it has the perfect size bezels, while being a great size altogether.

I'm never trying to "work with a phone" once I spend more than $500 for it. Even though I expect it to have cons, if I find myself bending too much to make it work, it wasn't worth the money I spent.

But that's just me.

I agree with you and I feel the same. There was a green one that someone sold for $400 on Swappa, all because their coworkers didn't like the phone. I regret missing that and of course it sold the same day it was listed. $400 range is it. Ironically the XZ1C is now $400 new.

Edit: Dang it. A tempting offer just appeared for my color so I caved but I can return so whatever. We'll see how I feel about that. I just feel the need to give it a try. I tried it but not all the way.

I'd use it if it wasn't $900. Love the design but land sakes, $900? C'mon man!

Sometimes these OEMs are have their heads so far up their rectums that there's no way to see reality.

Yeah I could see you using this for sure but as you said, the price is crazy.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I agree with all of y'all, $900 is just an insane amount of money to spend on a phone you may ultimately not like. My personal limit is $899.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I'm finding that it depends on the newness of the phone. $500 is my true limit but the most I could stretch is $600 (no more than $650). No more than that and that includes taxes which I hate paying so I generally avoid it when possible. Even at $650, the phone has to be basically perfect or it's going back. Believe that I will question every single thing and if it's worth it like I did with the iPhone 8, which I don't want (for now anyway lol).

Just learned about lawn disease. Remind me why I should want to have grass again?
