WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Has anyone else heard the term 'domestic engineer' as a term for stay at home mother?

Over the years I've been in engineering the term engineer has become watered down a lot but this is a new low.

Not sure if they're trying to be funny or if they have a problem with being a stay at home mother or whatever but an engineer you are not.

Yep, this is also new to me. Interesting term...

Heard that being used before.. many year ago. Thought it was a advance progression for those who studied Home Science!!! ?????? ??????

Wouldn't you believe it, spent the afternoon in 30C heat to wash my Honda City. After I hosed off the suds, the clear bright sky disappeared after an hour... been raining since... Should have just left the car out in the rain and get a free washing!!

There is some weird colouration on the blue plate... . Now I remember the Indian restaurant had some bright and funky florescent tube lighting....

When you say 'many years ago', how long? Now that I think of it I may have heard it before but I'm thinking a long time ago.

Hmmm.... Still I stick to my thoughts. Engineering should be more recognised than this.

Well, I spent much of my day in the ER. While I'm fine personally, it's a hell of a thing when you walk into the doctor's office and get told you're not going home. My heart goes out to my client.

I need a "Trump doesn't give a **** about most people" cold beer to process the day.

The struggle continues.

Back in the 80s!!
It was probably used in a movie, then people picked up on it. Perhaps it was a fad to put political correct labels to people..

Hope you're feeling better and it's nothing too serious.

That's what I was thinking. Around the 80s. So it's possible I had heard it before.

I'm just exhausted, really.

I did the accompaniment by picking up the client from home to take him to an outpatient specialty appointment. His gait was unsteady and he having some breathing issues. We got to his appointment and they sent him to the ER immediately. After some time in the ER, the doctors admitted him. He was devastated, having been through another admission a week before.

My job yesterday was to provide emotional support so that he wasn't overly resistent to the medical team working with him. Of course my phone was ringing the whole time with other clients going through some other crises. I had to step away for two hours and clear the decks with everyone else.

I needed one of these. Even though I don't use coffee. It's bigger than it looks. 20190126_100707.jpeg

While I'm fine with the G7+, my issues with it are still the same:

1) Battery life could be better (the 8 gives me better performance on a similar sized battery, but it is running stock on a 835 chip. The XZ2 give better performance one the same chip AND a similar sized battery but was pushing a 1080P screen)

2) Radio performance could be better (lacks full tuning for NA chip).

I like the G Assistant button, even if all I do is use it to check the weather once a day. I'm OK with the separate power button.

I still prefer the V35 design and may switch to one of those if I want to keep the audio in my daily driver.

Here in France it's more an espresso coffee. I've gotten into it as I don't drink milk anyway. This is at work. At home I'm currently using a cafetière and use oat milk.

I keep it to two to three a day which according to health science is ok. Unfiltered black coffee is the most healthiest for you.

This has planted based half and half + almond milk creamer in it.

Did a small to to Paris today. Went to a Musée D'Orssy and wandered around a bit ended up at the Panthenon.
