So another morning so far of not doing much.

My coworkers computer is still missing.

I managed to do some work before he came in but now I'm doing nothing.

He said he needed my computer for a few minutes... That was two hours ago.

So some good news regarding work here. Nothing to do with my coworkers computer.

My contact has been extended another year. So that's good.

Means we can settle in a bit more. Probably going to get a second car now.

Yes our farm is still going ahead as that's the reason we're here. The more money the better.

That's cool to hear. How do you feel about the move to France one year later?

That's cool to hear. How do you feel about the move to France one year later?

Actually it's closer to two years now. 23 Nov 2017 is when we moved here.

On the whole I like it. Needing to work again kind of sucks but it's OK.

Biggest frustration at the moment is still learning the language.

She's not the best subject as she has this tendency to move the minute you point a camera at her. You can sometimes get lucky though.

I took a couple of pictures at lunch time of some flowers in a better setting. I turned the effect down and up to get a feel for the difference. I should have taken one about mid point too but oh well.

I went outside because it's freezing in the office. Felt good to warm up.

Update on my coworkers computer.

Hard drive is dead.

He needs a complete new install.

To give an idea of how bad the IT is here, he needs to inform them what programs he needs.

Let me put this into perspective...

In all the years I've worked in an office I've NEVER had to do this.

Usually the IT Dept has some idea what's required.

I'm just stunned really.

I bought the drive a while back but just getting time to do it now.

Ii think I'm going to uninstall Office and put in Office 64 bit. I hope that helps.

What's driving me crazy right now is that my coworker is just doing a list of software. He's been on my computer for more than 30 mins...

I thought it was going to be quick. Never is it seems.
