WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

It's funny how things happen sometimes. I was told that the world is my oyster during a session (some other stuff too) but then I just finished a YA/Teen fiction book about a guy who carried one identity about himself so that defined how he moved in the world until his life changed due to an accident.
He struggled with not being able to carry that identity anymore (by the friends and the school seeing him in the old) since that was removed from him permanently until he interacted with a girl that made him question why he was this way. She saw through him. He thought that the girl made him do this but she made him realize that embracing who he really is and how he is like is all on him so it's up to him to carry that change.

I picked this for the story line being interesting, I didn't expect to relate.

So it's the Sony modern taken on the Compact line.

Sigh.

I really, really wish Sony had just split their lines in two if they wanted to push out a high end phone every 6 months. Just put out the bigger phone in April and the compact in September. Hell, use the compact in September to test out a few features that get refined in the bigger phone the following April so people don't feel completely screwed over.

Pricing will be the issue here. But Sony only knows "Sony price". They haven't competitively priced a device since they've been in restructuring...

It's basically a smaller Xperia 1. Nothing else. Has some updated apps/software but that's about it. Smaller battery and no 4K screen. I never use the 4K. Same everything else.

So it's called the Xperia 5. People are confused by the name but it makes sense to me. 5 is halfway to 10. Not rocket science.

Yes this will be on her short list. Yeah it sucks about the purple. Wonder why they did that. She's not a magenta type person. She likes red for sports cars but that's about it.

She likes silver. If the blue is good she may consider that, we'll have to see that in person though. I personally wasn't fond of the blue XZ I had once I got it. Way too muted. This blue looks better but we'll see.
