WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Still trying to wrap my head around the new LG UX on Android 10, especially the camera layout. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

On the plus side, the dirty installed worked and I've switched over. Actually running on the April 2020 patches to boot. Guess we will make do with this Korean unit after all.

No movements for the V40. That was expected, honestly.

Apparently, I spoke too soon. V40 was sold! The next stop for it is Duvall County.

Very nice shot!
Thanks. As usual these were all unedited. There was this great shot of a large bee nearby grabbing nectar. I was going to shoot it but left it alone - ain't trying to get stung. It would have made a nice shot too.

Zoom wasn't so bad on the squirrel shot above. He saw I was filming so he kept his back turned.

So the work wife is having issues with setting up her new iphone. So I sent her a link about installing drivers. She asked "what are drivers?" (I can hear Mr. Clue in the back yelling "Fore! Nascar!")

Yeah...iPhones are always so simple until they ain't (when they're not working well).

That wasn't a very nice shout out to the trailerhood!!

Man, when the weather gets warmer, you can guarantee that hood happens late at night that interrupts you trying to get any type of sleep - pandemic or no pandemic.

If you're wondering, I saw all the talk up there. No desire respond to anything. Could say some things but don't see the point I guess.

I expect I'll be working from home until about June or possibly longer.

Currently the government has told companies to keep people working at home if they can.

I could go into work for meetings if necessary but there's currently no way for me to work from both the office and home.

I'm not lugging a desktop back and forth...

Companies, especially engineering ones, are so far behind in working from home and using laptops.

Unfortunately IT companies charge ridiculous amounts of money for laptops that can power the software I use and the company expects these laptops to last 5-7 years or longer.

Then add in the trust issues and other aspects of this type of work and you have why desktops are still king.

I know from a recent video from the president of the company he's keen to have everyone back in as soon as possible.

Probably thinks productivity has dropped. I have news for him. Productivity is already crap regardless.... Lots of reasons for this too.

If you're wondering. Yes, I'm seriously contemplating finding a new job.

Of course waiting until after this mess with the virus is sorted. To whatever the new normal is.

I'd prefer to stay in the area or head back to the west coast area. Though that's unlikely.

I'm not in a hurry but unless things get fixed I can't see myself staying at this company for long.

Lots of people are hoping to find something new work wise. I don't think that employers are going to have as much leverage as some of them are used to having...but they will still have some.

It's gonna be a worse rat race. Sigh.

Some us realize banging a head into a wall causes injury, others are gluttons for punishment...
