It's unlocked whatever it is. So I flashed the north American open market Rom. I think it was originally AIO.Nate, what V35 do you have? (AT&T, Google Fi, etc?) I manually manage mine and have no intention of putting 10 on it.

Ah, it might have been the Amazon version - forgot about that model. I have the AT&T unlocked where I flashed the Google Fi ROM and manage it manually. AT&T has 10 on their models already. LG will get to the Fi and Amazon models whenever. It's unlocked whatever it is. So I flashed the north American open market Rom. I think it was originally AIO.
If you're interested in a skin to jazz it up? I can suggest something. It's unlocked whatever it is. So I flashed the north American open market Rom. I think it was originally AIO.
I've learned to appreciate the stock ux ui and only use the SwiftKey. After that it all seems good. The v30 imo is more fluid with ux6 I believe. The ux 9 on the v35 is just not as appealing with the squared off Notifications etc. Also the screen is not as natural in the whites by default so I had to tweak the color. Some sorta different calibration with the sd845 I guess. If you're interested in a skin to jazz it up? I can suggest something.
I'm not sure if it was amz. The Rom was the AIO fw when I checked. You get any one of the firmwares (AIO, amz, gfi, noa) on LG-firmwares site. For the best unlocked carrier free experience in US is best to use the noa (North America open market) FW. I think this also enables the CDMA bands too. That's the one I flashed. Then it auto updated to the Feb patch...Ah, it might have been the Amazon version - forgot about that model. I have the AT&T unlocked where I flashed the Google Fi ROM and manage it manually. Personally, in using 10 on the V50, both 8.0 and 9.0 on the V35, 8.0 and 9.0 on the G7+, and 9.0 and 8.1 on the V40...I thought 8.0/8.1 was the best version for me. I'm very indifferent about LG's version of 10. 9.0 was tolerable once it stabilized.
Wasn't talking software wise. I was talking something like a dbrand style skin for the back of the phone.I've learned to appreciate the stock ux ui and only use the SwiftKey. Cool. That's the same site I used and flashed the Google Fi ROM from. I don't think I'm running on Feb 2020 patch, likely still on Nov 2019. I'll likely leave mine on 9 as 10 broke my Sony music app ports.I'm not sure if it was amz. The Rom was the AIO fw when I checked. Oh lol. Nah I like the tech21 Evo Check case. I have a speck case too but I ordered another tech 21 for 5 dollars on AmazonWasn't talking software wise. I was talking something like a dbrand style skin for the back of the phone.
Software wise I use Niagara pro for my launcher.
Speaking of... I have a feeling Sony with the 1 mark II is gonna come around finally on their flagship. 1 maybe 2 more versions of that... They know how to make a decent midrange bout time they stepped up.. I have seen a couple reviews and the pro camera app is something to take a close look at for creatorsCool. She's been having similar issues to my phone. That's good to hear. If I was on my enthusiast days, I would have hunted down a Xperia 5.
Speaking of which, how is the boss (your wife) finding the Xperia 5?
Hard to run fast when the cross is bolted on the back and the crutches are soldered onto the armpits. Kinda like what's in this clip, jokes aside:A teacher I had years ago told me I could run a lot faster without crutches and carrying my cross.
The Sony Z3 was one of their best phones all time. I had it with me when I took the gf for her birthday to Magic City 6 years ago. Damn thing took some great shots, especially of the art district. Only issue I had with that camera was it cutting the phone off in the heat after continuous shooting. If I can find the folder I'll post some raw shots.Speaking of... I suspect that with how apps are written these days, clean installs with data backup are the best way to go. The problem is some major OS versions can brick apps (Sony's music app and 10, for example). It's one of the reasons why I don't like Pixels because I don't have as easy control over backups for my taste. LGs have been nice where I do my backs ups manually and keep it moving. She's been having similar issues to my phone.
I think I need to reset her phone as well but she hates doing it. Shouldn't have to do it either but it seems as the OS matures it becomes more bloated.
I think the last update may have created some issues.
I'm starting to think some apps are problematic as well. Hard to track down which though.
I'm also annoyed that I have some apps pre installed and cannot remove them. It's a Sony thing as well.
I'd like to get my Gear Sport repaired to pair with the 9 Pureview. I'd like to add a stainless steel Watch Active 2 44mm model as well. Right now the Active 2 is too expensive for my tastes. In terms of looks, I think that pairs better with the V50, but it's all subjective. I think what I'd like is the following setup:I'm a watch lover. I like big watches. Not oversized, just bigger watches. I sadly don't own an automatic. I've seen about 4 I want to get - a Skagen and 3 Buolvas. My watch colors are simple. As much as I love leather and lightweight bands, to me core I'm a heavy metal watch person. You, where it feels like a lead weight on your wrist heavy. So stainless steel and gold work here. Black, silver, smoke grey and then gold.
I also prefer the crown at 3 o'clock or the three button setup. I've seen the single crown at 2pm bits and am indifferent about it. Guess I'm more of a conservative with certain things.
It really makes me want to get that Mate 20 RS to go with it. In a nice suit with a classic automatic on the wrist and a leather backed phone? Yes please.
