Check out this dinosaur I found in a drawer. Sitting right next to another mastodon HP 910c. They felt so big then. View attachment 142324
You REALLY went diving into the old drawer.

I'm tempted to get a Blackberry Bold 9700 or 9550. I'd likely get a phone I always wanted - Nokia N86 8MP. I don't look at these old phones through rose colored glasses...i did enjoy quite a few of the old ones I used to use.

Did you say BlackBerry? How about a Treo 680 or Pre 2? Maybe a Palm Centro, I got some relics here. IMG_20200607_2348546.jpeg

Sadly there will be those who do. It's the nature of the beast and I'm not holding my breath for a sea change. If 23 elementary school children were slaughtered at Sandy Hook and ZERO permenanent legislation came as a result, what do you expect for us non-whites? I use Sandy Hook as a reference only, I'm very much on board with the 2nd Amendment and currently own various handguns myself. Parkland accomplised nothing either except to make David Hogg a "crisis actor" in the eyes of Trump followers. What the actual **** do you think that holds for us?

I honestly don't know which is worse. The sheer hatred by white supremacists and their enablers or the apathy you mention above.

I'm a Trump supporter and I don't support white supremacists or their ideals. I'm the wrong religion and ethnicity for the KKK but I don't believe in the hypocrisy of the Democrats and their slavery and segregationist history either.

That's why my voter's reg says "no party affiliation" . I can rag on any side with extreme prejudice. Your statement regarding Democrats is typical in that you assume that " if you ain't one of us, you must be one of them".

Monday mornings are bad enough. Sitting in the repair shop looking at a grand worth of repairs makes me want to head for the post office.

So the only exciting thing that happened today was we took our cat to the park for a walk.

We bought a pet carrier backpack to take her there safely and the let her walk on a leash.

Yes our cat is trained to walk in a leash. She's not always accommodating but typically she's happy to be out.

Walking a cat is not like walking a dog.

We know she misses being out in nature which is why were doing it. Because of the pandemic we didn't want to take her out. But feel it's safer now.

Also taking her out earlier will be the other thing. She's a bit skittish some times.

I've been wanting to take out our Siamese on a leash. Do you get one for a small dog or are there specific ones for cats. I've never seen anyone walk a cat. He's 14lbs. (about 6-1/2 kilos?) but I feel his neck is much thinner than a comparable dog's.

I really dislike Mondays. They're too cluster**** prone. Sigh.
Tell me about it. Power steering pump and rack & pinion unit are shot. Between the mortgage, health insurance and now this, there goes any discretionary spending for the toys. I don't deal well with the withdrawal symptoms.

That royally sucks.

You want me send you the HD2 as a distraction? I'm sure we can write it off tax wise as something related to COVID.

There are halters specifically for cats. Don't use just the collar. Highly recommend a clip on one for ease of putting it on/off. Our cat is used to it so looks forward to it.

Every cat is different so be sure to be patient. We don't want to walk ours in the busy street that's why we have the backpack. We thought of a stroller but I couldn't do it. That and it takes up too much room, etc.

There are several sizes of extractable leads now. For your cat you probably need a small or medium. I think they have weight sizing on them. Our cat is a small for the lead as she's under 5kg. There's an extra small but I think that's for really tiny dogs.

I hate car repairs. Aside from the cost they're just a complete hassle. Time wasted etc.

I wish sometimes I didn't need a car but at the same time I'm thankful to have it.

I still have some repairs to do on mine but they're not life threatening.

Need to find a mechanic first...

I ain't trying to grease your skids to send you down the rabbit hole. But since you started talking HD2...

https://swappa.com/listing/view/LRWR10947?ref=mobilenations&data1=UUwpUvbUpU3815123

I got one from these guys and it's exactly as described. Just the phone at this price. I can snap a picture tomorrow if you'd like. Their customer service was good as Swappa's system was messing around with my addresses. Bought a replacement battery and back cover for it too. It's on my to do list to mess around with in a few months time.

Energy ROMs were awesome. I still miss my Xperia X1with the X Panels and arc keyboard. That dam thing was so good looking and so hard to type on.
This is how mine looks. It was in better condition than I thought it would be. 20200608_150017.jpeg20200608_150012.jpeg20200608_150005.jpeg20200608_145935.jpeg20200608_145943.jpeg20200608_145958.jpeg
