Weather is crap. Yesterday was a storm and it knocked down two apple trees in my backyard. Guess who's to clean that.

Also the road to our weekend house has been demolished. I'm letting you guess who's fixing that as well.

Honestly, I don't really mind all this work that I got overnight. It's so boring I'd take anything right now. Had my head in the books for too long, got to go out a bit.

I'm tempted to go back to Sarajevo, there's nothing happening im my small town and there are so few places to go out.

But there are already reports about the second wave, so I'm not sure if I want to take my chances.

It's interesting you say this, as it encapsulates much of the struggle people have had.

I live in a community that is on the list of places that have one of the highest infection rates in the city. It's either 45% or 41%, depending on what name of the community you classify where I live fits in.

Yet for the last three weeks, especially this week, there's a lot more people not wearing any sort of protection. If course it's a brown neighborhood and we know the virus is more lethal amongst us. And we love near one of the hospitals that was hardest hit in the height of the pandemic (it also had a reputation of not being very good pre COVID-19).

So I'm starting to look like the odd duck with my safety glasses and mask on. Not that I give two .

So I know my sweet spot is a 4000mah battery. Mate 20 Pro and V50 have no battery anxiety. But I do know that with the shift at work, my commute is different. So can I now get away with a smaller battery? Well, the SIM is in the Pixel. I'll test it out for a while to see.

Oh it's almost no masks or whatsoever here. Borders are now back to usual bussiness, which means they don't really check people for COVID or anything.

I've already been to caffes and restaurants, both with GF and friends, but never went inside, I made sure to find a table outside, in the open and distance myself from others.

I survived one deadly virus, I don't need another one. People joking with this sh** have no clue what it's like to have a serious virus infection.

When I'm in a company that I kind of know shouldn't be infected, I'm without the mask, but every other time it's on. And it's ugly and uncomfortable as F, but I'll take that any time of the day.

The mask already shaved off 50€ from my pocket. I was going out of the parking lot, mum was annoying and trying to put a mask on my face (even though I said I would do it myself for like, 10 times), and yeah I didn't see the guy behind me. It was just a broken tail light on his side and nothing on mine though.

I'm not in a position where I can get sick from COVID-19. So I shut up, follow the guidelines and ignore the #covidiots. The Gf does the same.

Since it's been eons since I used a non 3.5mm jack phone, I'm reminded of how the lack of said port annoys the hell our of me.

Got both with my Redmi 5 Plus. Still hadn't got a chance to experience the lack of 3.5mm. But could in a near future.

I haven't been up to date with phones for a while now. I'll have to check what's out there that suits my wallet. I was thinking about a nice Huawei for a while now, but I doubt that's going to happen now that they ship with no Google services.

Well, depends on how you're willing to spend. The last thing I used for a while was the Mate 20 Pro. It's been LG's with jacks ever since. Well, it'll be for a month so we will see.

I have to say. COVID really screwed all my plans for this year.

I had in planned to pass 9/11 courses this year, so I can enroll to the final one (that's still very achievable), go to a Croatian island for the summer to make some bucks (had an offer to be a receptionist at a hotel since my English is kind of good), use that money for a new laptop. Maybe a ring.

But that's just not going to happen now.

I'll probably get another Redmi or one of the Samsung's A series.

I'm pretty sure I can get the best specs with Xiaomi, but honestly, the UI is so boring to look at and the screen isn't the best in the game.

Wow! That really sucks. I hope it won't be a long project in bad weather.
