I keep seeing that (Quibi) and it looks like a subscription. I can't, I already have a few that need to go (one will soon).
What, ain't no room in your budget for a comedy about the sisterhood bond between a guy's gf and his sex doll?

(guess I just gave up the plot)

So I did a soft reset last night on the Flex 14. I'll see how that works out. I didn't like the preinstalled software on the flash drive so I formatted the whole bit.

Did you watch Flossy's Galaxy Flex review? I can't remember I ever laughed that much to a tech review.

Went out to get some food from my favorite Mediterranean restaurant to show some support. Here are two random shots I took in that neighborhood. No edits. 3XL.View attachment 142360View attachment 142361
Those are great shots. I especially like the way you framed the scene using the chain link fence as the frame. I hope dinner was good. It looks like the weather was beautiful.

This is so sad but so true. The New York Times: I’m a Black American. I Had to Get Out..
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/12/opinion/sunday/black-america-racism-refugee.html

It's a tough read for sure. Who would've ever guessed that people would be fleeing as refugees away from the US. Please don't nobody take this the wrong way but I'm glad, in a way, that Donald Trump became president. It allowed white people to come out into the open and show their a**es. The genie is out of the bottle.

Is it really a case where the "white folks' asses" are on display? Maybe I'm too in the weeds working and will only believe when I see the change happen.

Until then...my cynicism is always on high.

Weather was great. It was nice to be out.

Still it all felt different. Wasn't so much the fact that people were wearing masks. It was the part when I walked into the restaurant and saw no seating. Or knowing I couldn't wait in the restaurant while the food was being prepared as I usually do.

Thanks. I wanted that contrast and I'm glad the Pixel cooperated. Again, I'd like to have seen what Google would have done with a triple camera setup for versatility, but you work with what you have.

Wow, this hits me for various reasons. The one I feel comfortable saying is because I follow a YouTuber that is planning the same. It's trippy but so understandable.
Lots of people are leaving...lots more are seriously considering it. I would have, but it isn't time yet, if that's the move for me.

It just seems that things have a really Sisyphean feel. That's the part that has gotten people's goat...and understandably so.

This is so weird for a non American to be witnessing from far away. I've never been to States, never visited and the only idea of the country and people I got was (mostly) from the films and now various youtubers and similar. But again, never through my own eyes.

Now, before I spill out the way I used to see America, you have to understand the context that I'm living in. Awful and devastated economy, corrupt politicians, attrociously low wages, high rates of financial crime and very few human rights (on paper, they exist, but rarely get exercised).

On top of all, this is the country of elite in it's purest form. If you're family isn't wealthy, you get sidelined on every occassion throughout your lifetime, no matter what it is.

And the cause of all that is national hatred. We are a country of three major nationalities hating each other for hundereds of years. Everyone is trying to make the life of others more difficult.

Now back to US. I think now you can see why I, and many others, were idiolizing US and other western countries (especially Germany). And TVs and films didn't really help. Black actors and singers and what not were all over the place, LGBT comm. members had their freedoms and rights, etc.

I thought slavery was long gone. But nope. Boy did my opinion change in the last 3 years. Constant harassings and killings of people of colour, systematic bullying and discriminations were almost something I'd see on a daily basis. Not just black people, I mean all the minorities here. And I had a cousin visiting from US a year or two ago and he touched on the subject of how black people are being marginalised and picked on by police and were the first to be suspicious of a crime.

Even Bloomberg admitted to stop and frisks. Like why? And this poor girl that had to move out of her country, I get her. I'm going to do the same 99%. Not because of the race problems, but all the things I mentioned above.

Just like her, people just want to go about their lives. Nobody can stand constant bullying and being picked on.

US has a serious issue with police. They're more like an army than a police.

Chances of a police officer pulling a gun on you here is very, very low. Never happened to anyone I know, neither did I hear about it through any form of media.

But that comes from a different reason than our police being friendly though.

Racism in Europe is just as bad in its own way. It is the source where this stuff came from.

I don't need to remind folks of one of the easiest examples here for those who are soccer fans - monkey chants or throwing bananas/banana peels at players.
