As much as I like to rag on them, both Rue and 99 have good eyes for landscape photography. They usually pick some nice base shots you can tweak for solid wallpapers.
I consider myself average.

It's been difficult to take pictures lately...

There's are basically my typical shots lately.DSC_0009-01.jpgDSC_0004-01.jpg

So our president just gave an address.

He said starting tomorrow things should go back to normal.

We won the first battle.

There was no information on what normal meant. He mentioned the virus is full around. But it seemed like he was saying literally go back to normal. No masks, no social distancing. Nothing said. Unless he just assumed people would know that's life now? Don't know, lots of dumb asses here...

It's a bit disturbing.

I guess I'll see what my work has to say.

I'd prefer to stay working from home as much as possible. Going in one or two days is fine.

Apparently productively has dropped significantly. That's what happens though when you have crap workers already and you let them be crap away from management. They do even less.

They have some serious things to fix at work. They have too many twilight employees who are not very interested in the work anymore or learning new skills. Remote working was probably too hard for them in a lot of ways.

They need some keen young blood if they want to keep doing this type of work efficiently....

There's a few of us planning to talk to management with a strategy but who knows if they'll listen?
Good luck with this at work. What I'm seeing now is that leaders have already shifted to "we need to get on with the business of making money" so that's that.

(that's a facepalm)
I feel like it should be more cost effective to have the same signage everywhere. It's very clear here what's going on. There's no good excuse for this.

It reminds me of what happened at work with the renovation. To replace the HVAC, a lot of lights had to be replaced. However all of them weren't replaced so it's a mix of old and new lights. Why? Apparently the budget was why.
I agree. Again, I've paid closer attention to how the subway platforms are done. They typically in most places have a similar style tiling like what you would see in regular sidewalks. There are fewer smaller tiled sections for flooring on the actual platform in stations.

We've got some engineers here, so I know what I'm asking for isn't completely crazy. With that stencil , you're saying it's cheaper to respray constantly vs just spending the money once?

This isn't even half of it. I will post one of my favorite combos for Rue and Mr. Clue...99 knows of this one too, so he's not allowed to say what this is.

I'm sure Rue will recognize part of it. View attachment 142366View attachment 142367
I delete all the pictures of my phones so I don't have many pictures of the devices I have owned. Same with the food pictures. I only keep my family and travel pictures.

Can’t make out the watch but I had one of those Z....... never mind.
So I'll leave out parts of this story to keep 99's mind clear and stress levels down.

Anyways, I really wanted this in purple. Of course Sony didn't do that, after having the purple the model before. I had test driven the pain black model that Rue always buys and wanted this in copper instead. Settled for this subtle silver green.

Was rocking this heavy during my last trip to the (305) at Cocowalk. Had the cam shut down mid shoot in the arts district too...running it too hard.

Yup, this was one of the phones Rue and I had in common at one point.

So I went fishing because I have Nokia N86 8MP in my ebay cart for eons. Then I saw it...a silver red E71. That phone was about as hot as this girl in workout pants I saw in the supermarket today.

It brought me back - not the girl in the workout pants, I didn't know her, although with that built lower half of hers PLENTY of people have hollered at her - to one of my favorite phones.

I had the E71, in both silver black and silver white, which was gorgeous. The camera has just atrocious and it used a 2.5mm jack, but man, the keyboard and styling were amazing. So I lent the E71 to my ex at the time to give her a phone when she was in Mexico for two weeks on missionary trip - she was in seminary school. Of course with her klutz self the phone got stolen and she spent the rest of the trip talking to me periodically on her classmate's phone.

I was crushed at her carelessness. Knew she was a klutz going in but she whined about wanting to have her own phone to talk to me and her mom while on the trip.

Ever since, I've thought about getting one occasionally. So I see the red one and I'm tempted...the battery is missing and the gaskets covering the microSD and micro USB ports. Plus, the seller has the full IMEI in one of the pictures. .

Yup, so like my ex, and the girl in the supermarket earlier, had to shake my head and move on. Maybe I'll get another silver white one again. That red though, boss incarnate.

Some of my real favorites over the years, phones I sold begrudgingly...in no particular order:

Sony Z3 (old war horse)
Sony Z Ultra (cried when it got stolen)
Moto X 2013 (didn't think I'd like it, but fell for it)
Moto X 2014 (loved everything but the battery)
LG G4 (had all sorts of leather backs. Miss those)
HTC Mozart (upgraded the internal microSD myself)
Samsung Focus S (pissed it was an AT&T exclusive)
Xiaomi Mi 5 (pissed it lacked US bands)
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 (was sad I to sell it to some knucklehead on Swappa)
Nokia Lumia 925 (I know where it is, and cannot get it back)
HTC 8X (saddened when it gotten stolen from another friend)

Think the Mi 5 was really the last phone I was super excited about. Liked the Mi Note 2 as it was a bigger Mi 5 with proper band support. Obviously used some other things since but nothing has moved me. I've used other things I've liked but nothing exciting for me in 4+ years.
