I've quietly resigned myself to the fact there are going to be these surges between now and the presence of a long term therapy. I'm just trying to protect myself in the interim.
There are enough reminders as to how society on a whole views me as disposable. Let me just protect myself and keep it moving.

Got the June updates for my Nokia8.1. No idea what's in it, don't feel any different.
Our number are in the teens, with a few single digits. After the Eid, and also the Harvest Festival at end of May, we held our breath for another wave which, to our relief didn't show up.
There were some spikes, but it amongst undocumented illegal workers in detention centres. Knowing the poor cramp conditions of these, its perfect for spreading.
We are now in Recovery CMO... Most commercial places have reopened, restaurants, parks, gyms,.. except activity that need constant close physical contact, ie cinemas, massage, reflexology, chiro.. School will restart soon. but you know that people are really want to restart when the betting shops reopenings! And the queue are long...

Bayern won their 8th consecutive Bundesliga title last night. Can't wait for the home ground game to watch the celebrations.
Congrats to Bayern!
English league restart later today. Nine games to go, need two wins, That said, one scenario is Liverpool dont win any more games but still be champions, cos City need to win all their games, but that won't happen.
Don't care if they put an asterisk club name on the Cup. To me it signifies we can't be denied, pandemic or no pandemic. YNWA.

Thing is, they won't shut down again here unless it gets really bad.

There's zero desire to do it again.

The President was pushed by business to get things to normal and the a lot of citizens all want normal as well.

Basically everything is open again here. You can even eat in cafes. Museums, etc. Only thing not going is large events but it looks like some are still on the cards for summer.

There's even people ignoring social distancing and other hygiene rules already. Greeting each other with kisses or handshakes.

Like I said, normal.

To many people still think this was a water of time and fear mongering.

I'm sure a spike is coming but it won't be bad enough. Then the tourists will come...

Such is life.

Though I have somewhat went back to normal (like 30%), I'm still afraid of what could happen. I basically go to town maybe once a week. See GF, have a coffee with a friend and I'm back to my country side.

Normal will be redefined after this virus. Don't think we're going to get rid of it any time soon. And those vaccines, I can only hope.

Tourist countries, yeah, you're about to be hit. Good thing tourism is dying here, just like everything else.

I've been a huge Liverpool fan (when it comes to EPL) and a big Klopp fan (even though he was managing Dortmund, the guy's a genius and a true loss for Bundesliga), but it's been the childish fans that have pushed me away from Liverpool in the last year or so.

But all things aside, no one should question the title. Like, they're so far ahead, been the best by far through out the year and I'm pretty sure they'd top anyone else that has been left if the whole COVID situation hadn't happened. A well deserved title, definitely.

I'm glad it's all done. Hopefully the virus situation gets a bit better so a proper celebration could take place.

We've just been informed that one of our professors has tested positive. Well, now we're definitely not going back to college for the rest of the regular year.

Wow, that's crazy. How do you feel about this?

Honestly, I don't know. This is the second or third professor from our campus that got infected. I don't even know why it was kept open.

I don't know the guy, he was a professor from a different department. There were others making jokes about corona when it all started. I guess they're not laughing now that their colleagues are getting sick.
