Ooh I was so close to pulling the trigger on Andy's phone today. The Prime Day $250 deal was very tempting you know, just for gits and shiggles, but from all reviews and user comments I couldn't see how it's better than the S8+ I have now.....which I despise on so many Androidian levels.

Yeah, I saw it. I did like Andy's phone...if the radios while on T-Mobile were better, I'd have still kept it. I didn't mind the so-so camera and once it got 8.1, it ran much better.

It's worse than the S8+, so you would be losing out there. Unless you wanted it as a backup.

Well, enjoy it. It isn't every person you date you want to take home to mother.

Sometimes we may put too much pressure on every date to go well. Everyone's situation is different - some people find what they want quickly, and some have to dive deep in the singles pool. It only matters that you find what you want when you find it.

You're right, but for me, I'm a long term kind of girl, so I would rather date someone that I can possibly see myself marrying down the line. I can see myself with someone like him long term from what I have observed of him. It's a waste of my time to date people who I don't see myself with in that way. I'll message you, it would make more sense if you got the context for me.

So I'm feeling the itch for something new. As satisfied I am with the Pixie and Mixie setup, the itch is there - and a project HTC 10 doesn't count. Getting a G7 (carrier model) for $450 seems good these days (surprised the V30 hasn't been cheaper), or a Key 2.

Guess I just keep coming back to needing a good headphone jack for my needs. I picked up Andy's HD USB-C headphones. We will see how those fare as the dongle I have doesn't play nice with the Mix 2 (neither sometimes does Xiaomi's ANC model I have) all the time.

Not sure what I'll do. I know I won't do it now as there's no extra money for that.

Ooh interesting choices. Your headphone jack need makes a lot of sense, so I'm not super surprised. I hope you'll be able to make a choice that would work for you, as this sounds challenging.

You're right, but for me, I'm a long term kind of girl, so I would rather date someone that I can possibly see myself marrying down the line. Everyone's a long term person looking for a long term person. No one wants to admit when they want a "right now" person as they search for the "right one", especially women - society still isn't fond of that.

It's the nature of the beast really. At least you're not in a large metro area like where I'm at. The dating scene here is a full time job with that "tremendously long hours and no chance of getting a raise" feel to it.

It's simple. I like the Pixel 2 but the battery and no headphone jack don't allow me to push the phone as I want. Had a few days recently where I had to nurse the battery through a long day and that was annoying. Had a few days recently where I was reminded that these headphones don't get loud enough (and the ANC isn't strong enough) to give me loud, clear sound while drowning on NYC commuter noises. I don't use the Mix 2 as the camera is a big enough downgrade, plus no ingress protection and tight storage space doesn't help.

Of these two devices, the G7 is ahead because it's simply cheaper (can find it cheaper) than the Key 2 because no one wants to really buy it. That won't change much once the key 2 is more available. But, we'll see how it goes. No final decision has been made.

Well, that is true but I have seen my share of people wanting hookups or just "nothing too serious, just want to have fun". I believe that it is a job and also tiring in general for your area. There's a good amount of people here but I think you win there when it comes to the amount of people.

I forgot to say that he put the ball in my court, allowing me to make the choice if we should do this again or not after I posted that.

I can only try my best with that really. I hate to be one of those people who is like "oh I'm so different" but I am, in the way you have named some of my things. Additionally, I am of a semi rare breed of people who find other things, like personality traits to be more attractive over their appearance. I would never just swipe right on someone because they are 'pretty'. In fact, I tend to find the so called not as (conventionally) 'pretty/cute' people to be more interesting usually and cute in their own way...

I'd use the Mix 2 of the camera was a little better and it had ingress protection. Hardware wise, the G7 and S9 have what I want. Software wise, I can stomach LG more than Samsung.

But I have time to decide. No true rush here.

Yup went well. Very well got to the meet the whole team, got shown around the building, set up my credentials, got handed my work cellphone and laptop and saw the break room
