WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Not a fan of having to do extra steps to get to the clear all button for the apps in multitasking.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Being the coffee snob I am it's all about the type of coffee you drink along with the way it's prepared.

I'm no fan of filtered coffee. You lose all the oils which is where most of the good stuff is. Including some if the flavour. The crema is important...

Espresso machine or French press is what I use. I haven't got my machine setup so it's French press for now.

Coffee is a personal taste thing. I'm more into pure single source arabica with notes of chocolate but strong roast. Medium to dark typically.

I don't mind blends, if done well, but I'm no fan of robusta coffee. Too bitter for me.

I found coffee in London was always towards the bitter side rather than smooth. Just their 'thing' I suppose.

I find mainland Europe coffee is strong but good for the most part. I typically drink espresso here. No milk coffees.

I enjoyed Australian coffee a lot. I used to buy from a coffee plantation in northern Queensland directly.

But I do get why people like to avoid coffee. I don't have it as frequently as I used to.

I love coffee made via the French press. At work we are lucky to have a Jura Giga so I drink an Americano. Really good coffee never tastes bitter (only robusta beans tend to do that and you can't get rid of that bitterness with over roasting, sorry).

I have been enjoying coffee here in Costa Rica, it is smooth and dark but not bitter. As I may have mentioned before my favorite coffee is at Roasting Plant - pretty much everything they have there is good. I also stumbled across someone on Twitter who roasts coffee one small batch at a time and his Ethiopian coffee is really nice.

I only drink coffee when I am not at home. At home I usually drink chai. What can I say, I am a caffeine junkie.

Gotta wait till I get back home to install the update. It is available here but WiFi is painfully slow :-(

You ain't missing nothing yet. Enjoy 8.1 while you're out there.

Nothing bad so far but I haven't seen anything worth rushing to update for yet. We'll see what you think when you download it.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

A coffee snob, eh? Lol.

If I were into coffee I'd be along those lines to truly appreciate the experience. I don't like the after feeling when I drink it black, so I don't do it often.
I can appreciate that.

I was going to say connoisseur but that basically means snob. 🤣

I can only drink black coffee as a shot or two. Not more. It has to be good coffee too.

Love a good cup of chai.

If you're in Paris there's a tea company called Kusmi Tea. Their tea is sold in other EU countries and possibly the USA.

Really good loose leaf tea. Not cheap though but worth it.

I have heard about Kusmi. Both my wife and I like specific brands of loose leaf teas and we can find them easily in SoCal.

I like the one I've been drinking recently. It's so strong though I only finish half cup.

Kusmi does all kind of teas but I personally like the English Breakfast and Earl Grey.

If you run across it give it a go.

I like strong coffee but there's no way I could drink a full mug of black coffee.

I'm currently drinking an organic dark roast. We're trying different coffees out to find the one we like. This one isn't bad at all.

The coffee isle is pretty impressive here. However they have a lot of pods for machines which I'm no fan of. The coffee is always weak and too cold

As for phones. I haven't got 8.1 yet...

Doesn't matter though.

In other news we're apparently getting rain tonight. 🤸

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Giorgio Moroder soundtrack is awesome!!!!
I jam "The Chase" every chance I get. A local Miami DJ mixed it with Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" (another Moroder creation) and it's sick.

I'm a coffee person and I buy beans to grind them with my Hario. I have two Kona beans and it looks like I was expecting to much. There are beans from Starbucks Reserve that tasted better for me.

One kind of beans though I can't stand is one from Papua New Guinea. They're so bitter.

Black coffee person here...

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I also drink regular coffee black. The only time milk is added is when I have lattes or cappuccinos.

I like most of her early material... up to The Wanderer. She did put out a lot of good stuff.
