WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Oh forget Florida. I can't imagine living anywhere but a coastal town wherever it is.
Would love to live costal and it's still a future prospect once we've had 'enough' of the rural farming life. If that happens of course. It's not cheap to live near the sea/ocean.

My wife and I love the ocean and water in general. We'd like to get to either the Med or by the Atlantic but the storms by the Atlantic are pretty harsh. The Med get these nasty winds.

There's always the possibility of returning to Australia but not sure about that. We like Europe and being around different cultures. Australia is a bit away from everywhere and it's a fairly mono culture in some respects. Especially when you get to more rural areas.

I grew up in Toronto. I lived a 15 minute bike ride to the lake. I know a lake is not the ocean but it's a big lake. So I kind of grew up with being near water. I do miss it when I'm not near it for some time.

I somehow forgot to write about the Essential Phone. I finally understand the weight comment now, it does feel a bit heavy but the size and design is so nice though. I haven't used it much yet aside from setup because of a certain human...and also because I have a book loan registered on my Note 4 still.

Such a striking design though...

Man this car buying stuff is craziness!!!
Can't decide which one to get.
We decided not to get the 2015 Honda Accord EX-L for $18.5K with only 11K miles.

Currently dealing with two different car dealerships - one a Toyota Camry and the other a Honda CR-V, both 2016 with relatively low miles.

I'm tired...

Good luck with that.

I've been pretty occupied myself but yeah, the design is one of the best I've seen in a while. I should've listened to MIA though, the TMO radios are atrocious. Maybe I'm not as discerning but I find the camera pretty solid. The software is barren compared to even a Windows phone but the results look pretty good.

Good luck with that human!!

Price being equal, the CR-V will offer more utility and hold its value better. The Camry is a bulletproof piece of vanilla cake though.

Right about the design?! Dang that sucks about the radios :(
Interesting that the camera is good for you but that's good.

Thank you. I keep saying it but it is a shock. I have never had it this way before, the connection is legit, probably the most that I have ever had with anyone I was seeing. I feel like I don't have to make myself small, exclude a part of myself, or dumb myself down. Before anyone says, "ooh you shouldn't do that", I couldn't always see this coming.

This does sound tough! Good luck with it.

Follow your heart, it's rarely wrong.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Vanilla cake was the Accord. Very Spartan, the Camry was quite svelte in comparison.

Price is slightly more for the CR-V (10%) for same mileage /features/ model year.

The new car is to replace the almost 19 year old Acura.

We might just get the CR-V to get something different.

I buy 'Murican, they're both vanilla to me

Very very early on when I was about to buy my first car my very close friend Don (white Caucasian male - as 'Murican as they come) steered me away from purchasing anything from Detroit. The irony is I wanted to buy a Chevy pickup truck :-)

I think at this point I would buy 'Murican - a Ford Mustang but need to wait a few more years till the kid goes to college.

In all fairness, Detroit has come a long way from Chevy Citations, Ford Tempos and Plymouth Reliants. Even the trucks, or especially the trucks, are nothing like what they were 25 years ago.

Run it on VZW and it sails like butter, I hear. It just doesn't like T-Mobile as much as it should.

Design is nice and the cameras aren't as atrocious as they were. I do miss using it. And yet I don't always miss owning it. Very polarizing device. Wish I was an app developer as that device would be great for that.
