Living in a mansion surrounded by nothing but canopy, gets dull by the minute. Not to mention the no network coverage bit.

Escaped from the eyes, tackled a couple of mossy ledges, and found a comfortable place on the roof where i could be one with nature and its serenity and read my book peacefully. (A Dance with Dragons, if you're curious )

I went out to the in-law's house. They live out in the country. I wanted a pic of their neighbor's property; he has a big field where his cows graze, but he also has a cell phone tower out there. I wanted that juxtaposition of ancient and modern. The cows were grazing elsewhere. I did get some shots of the cell tower and a few turned out nice... There was a distance shot I was going to use...

However, my father-in-law was having a tree removed. An old 85 footer that has failed to show leaves for a couple years now. They took it down in two foot sections. Here's a closeup of the bottom most section from the next morning.

Taken with a Lumia 925, Nokia Camera App, Nokia Creative Studio for some slight tweaks on temperature/vibrance/shadow/etc.

This photo was taken with a Lumia 920. This is a very beautiful sunset in Greece, and on the bottom left corner you can see umbrellas, from the beach were we went to relax a little bit. You can't imagine how clear is the water :smile::smile::smile:. I used Camera360 and OneLens (my two favorite photography apps).

This photograph was captured using my Lumia 920. I went on a camping trip in the countryside, 60 kilometers away from the city of Ankara in Turkey. I was on a high hill overlooking a valley occupied with scattered villages. I spent the evening there a day before the super moon evening. It was very windy until midnight. After midnight the night was very serene and gorgeously lit with the bright moon.

I used Nokia Camera to capture the image and I post processed using Fhotoroom. Both are wonderfully reliable apps.

I have full trust on my 920's camera. I took many pictures during my summer holiday and it is my main camera as I have no other dedicated cameras. It is better in low light than my Canon Point and shoot camera that purchased couple years ago.

My only gripe with the camera software is its slowness and occasional lag.

I wish all the contesters good luck and thank WP Central for making these awesome photo contests.

I was shooting mainly long exposure shots but when I saw these guys coming, I wanted to freeze the moment

I only shot RAW. It was processed in Darktable.
