Weekly reminders on Calendars possible?

Howdy y'all,

I was wondering if there is any way you can set up a reminder for, let's say, every Tuesday of the year. I would like to put my class schedule in my calenders to get reminders but obviously I am not going to go day by day. Is there any way I can just say "Every Tuesday from 10 - 11:15 I have Data Structures"? I've been messing around with the calendars both on my desktop and phone but can't get it. I googled it but nothing.

Do you have Office 365? If you do, it is possible to add recurring tasks using Outlook.

Unfortunately I don't. Is there a free app out there that synchronizes with my Calendars on W8.1 that does what I am looking for?
