weird....instance hash tags working????

So I read the article about hash tags being blocked, maybe I read it wrong, but I took a bunch of pics at a wedding this weekend and I just went on instagrams site and all my hash tags were still posted....maybe it means people can search em??? Idk, the whole thing is stupid!!! I hate FB, and do enjoy putting the occasional drunk pic on instance, but this is all confusing me....anyone else having luck? Or am I completely reading that article from Sunday wrong?? Also any word when the 6stagram is coming? I hope this week

Yeah, you read it wrong

It's not that your hashtags will be removed, it just means your images won't be indexed for when people search for that hashtag. So when someone searches for #Lumia1020, had you used it, your photo would still be tagged but it won't be displayed to other users.

It's not that your hashtags will be removed, it just means your images won't be indexed for when people search for that hashtag. So when someone searches for #Lumia1020, had you used it, your photo would still be tagged but it won't be displayed to other users.

Just to clarify is this if you search as another user or as yourself. Because I've posted multiple photos through instance and if I search the hashtags on my Samsung Galaxy S4 Active my photos still show up under those tags.

My tags don't work. But 6tagram developer said it should clear up eventually as long u don't use other apps. Been a few days my tag still don't work.
