What are these unwanted stock photos displaying on my lock screen?

Unwanted stock photos displaying on lock screen

So whatever I set my lock screen settings as, either to show photos from an album on my phone or photos from my Facebook account, it still randomly shows some stock photos. Namely one of a falling feather.

I don't have this picture stored on my phone but it always randomly displays on my lock screen. I've even tried installing and setting up a few lock screen apps, and it still displays this stock photo every now and again. Not sure if it's getting it from Bing or a random default album somewhere, but this picture definitely doesn't exist on my phone.

Any ideas?

NB: On the same note, can anyone recommend a good app for displaying my photos on the lock screen? All the ones I've tried are pretty bad.

Not sure why you're encountering that feather image; I've been able to set up any lock screen app, especially weather apps with custom background images almost without problems.

What lock screen apps have you tried already?

Photostream, Paper Shuffle and Live Lock Screen Beta so far...

You could try some of the following:
Imagefusion
Lockie
Phototastic
Galleries

These all worked for me in my L1020, back in Black, Cyan and now in Denim.

Additionally, you can try Lock Buster and Lockscreener!, but I haven't tried them yet.

I just tried something new a few hours ago - so far the only app that creates random collages from my photo hub. You may want to check it out: Memorylage.

It's a trial version, but it's unclear what the full version has except the ability to remove the "memorylage" stamp from the lock screen image.

Memorylage is also for lock screen photos - I have it set as my lock screen provider now.
