What chargers does this phone like?

I bought a 950XL from Thailand.

It doesn't charge using third party USB C cables.

It doesn't charge if I insert the plug in to a travel charger.

It doesn't charge if I plug the USB C cable it came with in to a power bank.

What do you suggest?

You can use any Microsoft v3.1, Type-C reversible connector , that will resolve your issue

You can ask him to place to order and once it rech you can ask them to call you . As its Microsoft product so they are last point of contact .

There has been a flood of cheap USB-C cables that do not conform to the standard. A Google Engineer has been testing cables and posting reviews on Amazon and his G+ account to help people steer clear of the junk.

The charger itself should be at least 2amp, but the USB-C cable (or adapter for an existing micro/mini USB cable) needs to strictly adhere to specs.

Look at Ventev, MS stores in the US sell at least the wall charger, I bought the car charger from the windows central shop at a good discount. Ventev Wall Charger / Ventev Car Charger
