Would you buy it?

For me, yes. However, that'd depend on it's specs. I just think that it would be better on top then bottom.

My old 928 says hello!

When holding a phone in my hand, I prefer the cable on the bottom like my Icon. In the car, though, my preference would be to have the cable on top

I prefer the charging port to be on the bottom when I'm using headphones.

The only time I use the charging port on my 920 is when I'm in the car. Otherwise, I use wireless charging.

I just imagined Mathew McConaughey asking that same question, while driving a Lincoln... That Interstellar vibe.. Lol.
Dancing on the rings of Saturn. L1320

I'd rather see a windows phone released that could last a month without worrying about a charger. *and still have plenty of power

A life lesson for you... Ask the Multiverse for something impossible and you might get something a quarter of the way there. So I'd settle for a week.

The odds of a phone battery lasting that long are super super super low. That's all I'm saying

Once upon a time actually, Palm PDA battery life was measured in days or weeks.

I remember reading somewhere, maybe it was the WC review, for the 720 and the guy saying that if pushed, it could last a week or something. (like without data and stuff)

Yes, but data and internet are used a lot these days.

that's true.

On a related note, I saw ZeroLemon is selling extended batteries for the Lumia 52x.
Its a whopping 4800 mAh (I think) compared to the stock ~1430.
I think that can have a shot at a week!

I just checked their site, and it's a 4700mAh, not 4800. Still, that's pretty awesome. They provide an "extended" case cover for it so it will hold the larger battery. Pretty sweet at $29.99 US. Would LOVE to have that for my 635. I'll bet a lot of people would LOVE to have an 8600mAh battery for their 1520 as well. :)

I usually/naturally hold my phone with my pinky below the outside corner, so I dread bottom charging ports. Being able to rotate 4 ways would be nice. They got it on android, and we have it in some apps...

That's really the only thing I dislike about Windows Phone
