I don't have money for a new phone now, but since all my friends use whatsapp only, and we have a whatsapp group in university and language class, i'm left out while everyone else is communicated with their droids and iOS. (had to reset my phone because it got the spinning gears problem). At least where i live, whatsapp is so basic that the idea of a phone not having it is ridiculous. One just doesn't ask if you have whatsapp, they just tell you: "give me your whatsapp". Whenever i can i'll have to buy an android phone. I'll just wait one week more because i feel i spoiled my money..

Joe Belfiore already confirmed on Twitter that Microsoft is helping to fix Whatsapp but did not give a timeframe. Nonetheless, there's no reason to have two Whatsapp threads.
