What is this yellowing effect?

Sorry guys to add bad news, but I've got 6 (!!!) units replaced and they all had it.
I even got through "Care Team" and at the end they gave in and spilled the beans: all surface pro 3 have this.
Some more, some less. They all have it.

I've just scheduled a pickup for unit number 3
Although, as well as the yellowing, I've got a top to bottom column of dead pixels

Thought I would add some updated commentary to this thread....I had this issue with my Surface pro 3, faint yellow tint to the entire screen. I purchased a Surface Pro 4 at launch, and did not have this issue. I recently had to replace my Pro 4 due to a few dead pixels, and the replacement unit had the yellow tint issue! I have since replaced the Pro 4 two more times and every one has a yellow tint to the screen (second replacement was even worse with a darker yellow tint down the left third part of the screen). Not sure what to do at this point, I stayed in the store for the third replacement (brand new from a retail box) and booted it before leaving. Although the store tech said he could still see a slight yellow tint, all they can do is swap it again, but I have no reason to believe my fourth unit will not also have this issue. My CEO just purchased a Surface Book last week and his screen is even worse than mine!
