What?! iSuppli thinks that Nokia could help WP overtake... iOS?

It's too far off, with too many outside influences to predict. I can see WP gaining for sure - it would be a tragedy for such a well designed OS if it didn't - but not leapfrogging iOS unless the next two iPhones/iPads are disasters. Plus I think Tim Cook has probably been underestimated so far as CEO, but will shine now he's out of his former boss's shadow. Jobs hired the wrong guy to take over once before - he'd never get burned like that twice, and I suspect the team he left are bombproof and absolutely focused on taking Apple forward in the manner he'd have done if he were still here.

And who knows where MS will be then? If Windows 8 is a flop and the market at large don't take to the Metro front end, we could see Ballmer gone and the focus at MS shift massively in the next few years. That could mean all sorts of upheaval. And if anyone doesn't think it could happen to a big tech company, look at the crazy ride HP have had in the past few years.
