Well if that's the case, i was stupid to renew it. Now won't be making any payment to them.
My wife's WhatsApp subscription renewal is in January, will be keeping a watch on her subscription status.

Though the question remains, why do they renew when they've mentioned subscription from year two??

Im facing two problems regarding this whatsapp.
1) Whenever i use the media content in the whatsapp it crashes either after sending 3 4 pics or by seeing the pictures!
2) formerly when i used to update my profile pic using the high resolution dslr pics it updated but now after recent update of whatsapp it gives an error of running out of memory!

There is no prob with the push notification issue on my l720.
Is der any1 facing the same probs? Is der any solution?

Yes, we all.. May be windows phone development is too hard.. That's y quality apps are not being developed...

Im not sure if i should use whatapp because this app want to have access to almost anything that is possible on the phone.
And i dont think its nessessary for whatsapp to have access to just everything or am i wrong?

Its access to the software libraries, this does not mean Whatsapp randomly steals your data

phone identity
owner identity
video and still capture
location services
media playback
microphone
data services
push notification service
movement and directional sensor
VOIP calling
HD720P (720x1280)
WVGA (480x800)
WXGA (768x1280)
photo, music, and video libraries
camera

I think there isnt anything else you could get access to on the phone?

Check each access and why it need!! You cant sync your Phone numbers in WhatsApp without contacts media playback for audio/video files, camera and capture for image sharing .....
the list goes on.. only INAPPROPRIATE COULD BE APPOINTMENTS

Sure there is a need for some of them, but i think its not really "nice" to take everything you can and with no option to disable this. the only thing you can disable because of the microsoft store rules is the location.

Whatsapp on my lumia 620 lags sometimes n after sometime it automatically exits. Need help. Its annoying me now. Already many features are not there up of that these issues.

But just with some Factory Apps or Root Access. And that change nothing with whatsapp on Windows Phone. As Whatsapp is at the moment it just sucks. They should use the permission just if i accepted a question they asked on start or change it in the settings, like any other seriously app are already doing it.

Also, I had paid last year when I was on Android.

I have used whatsapp for three or four years and I have never paid..

Rooted phones
Xpose framework
Xprivacy & Greenify module..

So by default it can't be done.. Without rooting and installing the apps.
