Hi,

I recently got the Lumia 950. Though I followed all the procedure for backup from my existing Lumia 920, Whatsapp messages have not been copied. Only few groups have been created and all old chats (group and individual) have not been restored. Do we have any solutions?

Nowadays, You can easily backup all whatsapp medias and chats at google drive. Just check settings inside whatsapp.

@OP: There is no way to restore WhatsApp messages from a phone with no microSD card to a phone with microSD. WhatsApp does not backup messages on the cloud but the microSD card.

Thanks..its really surprising that its not possible to restore the individual messages. Wish that there was a solution available.

I wish WhatsApp starts backing up the messages on the cloud, preferably OneDrive.
