Where is Update 2?

There's no official news or release of Update 2 for Lumia 535. I've been waiting since i heard of the update and still waiting for it to officially arrive..
Any news when is it gonna be officially released? Thanks ^_^

I don't want to join the PFD program since this is my only phone for daily use.. :sweaty:

i reckon i will have finished no mans sky by the time they release update 2 :winktongue: - but seriously, there is no news, which is frustrating at this point, only logic i can attribute, is that because it seemingly gets installed prior to w10m, then end users are looking at nov through to q1 2016 for update 2/w10m

it was skipped in favor of 10 in the future.

Hi, I also have a Lumia 535 and got the Update 2 through the Insider App, here is what I did. I installed the Insider App, when I pressed the "Get Builds" ir something like that (My app is in spanish) I saw 3 rings: Slow, Fast and ANOTHER Slow. I went with the bottom Slow Ring, the last one, it didn't say I have to reboot the phone. I went to the settings and I looked for an update and started downloading the update 2 just like so.

but it may go straight to Windows 10, which is the situation we want to avoid.

And you can't let it stay on Insider, you'll have to get out of the program, maybe even erase the phone to prevent a 10 upgrade.
