Which Windows Phones have you owned?

DVP (my fave aside from 1520.3)
HTC 8X
Lumia 925
Lumia 1520.3 whose screen ghosting issues ended its life short as it just sits on a shelf :(
Lumia 640 XL

Hoping to soon own the Elite X3 :D

Been here since WP7 launch

Lumia 800 - Black
Lumia 925 - Black
Lumia 720 - Red
Lumia 1020 - Yellow
Lumia 830 - Black

In the same time period my girlfriend has had the following
Lumia 800 - Cyan
Lumia 820 - Cyan
Lumia 735 - Cyan

I miss the choice of colours with the new phones, and although the 830 is classy phone I do miss the solid polycarbonate of the previous Nokia Lumia's.

For the first time I am considering moving away from Windows Phone because there is still a lack of top end apps, I will stick around to the new top end phones at least, whether they be Lumia's or a Surface Phone and see what the situation is like then.

Dell Venue Pro (Windows 7.5 Mango), Lumia 535 Dual Sim India Version, Lumia 520 now 950XL Dual Sim.

I'm a bit of a Windows Mobile (and mobility in general) tragic, in the modern era I've had the following devices:

  • Samsung Omnia 7
  • Nokia Lumia 800
  • Nokia Lumia 900
  • Nokia Lumia 920
  • Nokia Lumia 1020
  • Nokia Lumia 820
  • Nokia Lumia 950XL

Prior to that I also had the following legacy devices:

  • i-Mate Smartphone2
  • i-Mate JasJar
  • i-Mate Ultimate 9502

For the most part a Windows device has been my daily driver for as long as they supported making phone calls. And before that I had a few PDA-style devices like iPAQs etc. I've also flirted with multiple generations of iPhones (3, 3s, 4, 6) and Android (Nexus 5). I keep coming back to Windows despite the app gap.

First: Lumia 800. Locked phone that was pretty much ignored by telco as far as updates were concerned. Nice phone but limited to WP7 and no support. Traded it in for Android HTC One M8.
2nd: Lumia 930. After discovering Android isn't all it's cracked up to be and missing Windows Phone decided to come back and go with an unlocked variant this time. Still use it as backup.
3rd: Lumia 950XL. Not exactly the "flagship" I was hoping for but there's enough features to keep it as my daily driver.
4th: TBD.

First: HTC Radar wp 7.1. This was also my very first smartphone. I think this was a wonderful mid tier device, but no ongoing support
Second: HTC 8X. Was the only WP that the local carriers sold. This was a nice phone. Used it for 2 years.
Third and Current: Nokia Lumia 830. Again the only wp the carriers sold in my locality. Would have preferred the 930. Compared to my 8x it had some nicer features, nicer camera, but the 830 feels less premium in the hand. I think if they had sold the HTC One wp here I might have been tempted. Will be upgrading this fall. hard to know what to buy. Have not decided if I will stick it out with wp. Just bought my wife a L950, unlocked, off contract. I quite like it. I am secretly hoping MS will announce a Surface Phone for fall, or that maybe the HP X3 will be widely available. If these phones never materialize I maybe tempted to buy an Android phone. I recently purchased iPhone 6s' for my parents. They are nice phones, but the lack of customization, the insipid UI, and insane price (criminal imo), I just cannot see myself carrying one. My wife and I love wp. She is not a techie and is not a big app person, she just loves the tiles and customization. I like the W10 family safety features. A very much hidden capability that is really helpful. Just wish there were more and better apps. I am kind of sick of buggy, feature missing apps like Facebook that seldom get updated. This is the only valid reason to switch to Android or IOS, IMO.

PRE WINDOWS PHONE

0. ****LOADS OF WM devices starting from magneto - crossbow - wm6.5.1

WINDOWS PHONE

1. acer s200 NeoTouch (technically because it was marketed as windows phone running windows mobile 6.5.1)

4. htc 8x 5. Lumia 620 (used both at the same time)
6. lumia 930
7. lumia 950

in between these phones, I used several android phones including htc dream, nexus 4, nexus 5,
and iPhone 3gs.

Lumia 920
Lumia 925

but im saving to get the 640xl or the 650 :D

I cant remember anything before the 1520 and the 2520 (yes, I have used the 2520 as a phone) It barely fits in my hand, but yeah.

I bought Lumia 710 for my brother which I used for a few days before giving it to him.
My first windows phone was the 820 which was my first smartphone, though I used a nokia music express before that which was my first touchscreen phone.
Bought a 625 for my wife and 532 for my mom (their first smartphones)
Am currently using the 640XL.
Next phone will be windows for sure, but by the looks of it that will be a non-Microsoft one. But that is still some way out. I plan on spending the year 2016 with 640 XL itself unless it breaks up or I get really excited with some new phone and its price.
