Hey all. So I've had my 1520 for over a month now and haven't had any issues at all up until now.
Today I adjusted my screen brightness from auto to high and within a few minutes noticed a very distinctive white mark shining through the black background on the screen. The best way I can describe this is that it almost looks like white light is "leaking" through the black background. Its a very distinctive white smudge and clearly shouldn't be there.
I guess there's a good chance that this screen abnormality has been there since day one and I've not noticed it because the screen has never been on the high brightness setting, but frankly its bugging the crud outta me knowing that its there. Now I've got the problem that my eyes keep getting dragged to the area of damaged screen, and wouldn't you know it, its now massively visible to me even with the screen brightness turned back to auto or low.
So, my questions are: what causes this sort of thing? Has anyone else had "white light leakage" issues on their 1520 and is it even worth me contacting Vodafone and getting it sorted? Could it get progressively worse as the phone ages?
Any support would be greatly appreciated.
