Why am I unable to record my voice on my Acer laptop?

I cant able to record my voice in my acer laptop

in acer windows 8.1 laptop.Actully it record but no voice is coming. so nobody cant able to listen to my voice while skyping.pls help me

Do your notebook got a own build microphone? Did you enabled it in the Control Panel? Do you make the audio configuration test in skype?
