Why can't I read my SD card after upgrading to Windows 10?

Cannot read SD card after upgrading to Windows 10

Hi, I was running Windows 7 in my Surface 3. I used to use a USB SD card reader to read my pictures in a SD card from my DSLR camera. After upgrading to Windows 10, I cannot read my SD card anymore. Has I missed out some drivers? and is there a way to downgrade my Surface back to Windows 7? appreciate your advise, cause my major function of the Surface is to read my pictures and do postprocessing. thanks in advance.

Do you mean Windows 8? The Surface 3 never ran Windows 7.

oh yes, you are right, it was Windows 8.
