Why does my laptop automatically sleep after 2 minutes?

I have changed all power and sleep settings in all modes. On battery and mains, no matter how many times I've changed the times, it always now sleeps on 2 minutes. I've checked my settings and they show my times in there. Can anyone help please?

Under the Power & Sleep settings menu, click the "Additional Power Settings" link and try making similar adjustments.

Easier way to access this is by right clicking the battery icon and choose "Power Options"

you're sure it's the pc that sleeps and not just the display switching off?
