Why has my wifi connection disappeared on my Surface Pro3 Windows 8.1?

everything was working fine then no wireless internet connection and no bluetooth connection for my mouse. it all just vanished. this isnt my first problem with this.. last month i lost printing capabilatiy with my printer.. all was working fine then boom.. nothing. took it to staples where i bought it and got one of those minion looks. they pluged in this little thing and said yup.. no viruses. i fixed it myself by reseting the thing to an earlier restor time and all started printing again. now no internet and bluetooth... what gives with this little box. thank you in advance for any help.

You could always restart the system, to see if that solves the problem. If that doesn't help you'll have to refresh the system, this usually takes about 30 minutes (settings->update and recovery->refresh your PC without effecting your files)
I used to have this problem on my Surface RT, usually the restart solved it, but I had to occasionally refresh the system.

i tried restarting and then i refreshed. notta. now it wont even let me log on. ? says the password is invalid. i think im ready to let staples have a 1700 dollar temper tantrum.

Sounds like a hardware fault (maybe a loose connection you've had for awhile, and it finally broke loose). If I were you, see if you can get a replacement, and tell us how that goes.

I had that issue today. I had to go into device manager and reinstall the wifi drivers

i took the computer back to its original settings. checking device manager.. there is no "network adapter" thinking mr. Zulfinger sounds right. and going to hate to go visit minions BGrewer but sounds like its going to be in the near future

the minions told me i needed to contact square trade (warranty i bought) and see what they say, there was nothing he could do. really?... really? i bought it here, just 4 months ago. why don't you contact them and fix it. you sold it to me. no, that's not how it works. we can for 30 dollars, wipe it clean, reinstall and see if that resolves the issue. if not you'll have to call square trade and have them fix it from there. i said 1700 but looking at the receipt it was actually 14 hundred something with all the pieces and tokens that you have to purchase with it. this is a tech center at staples? last time i was there cause it dropped the printer connection. they plugged in a thing and told me it didn't have a virus.

anyway folks, thanks for all your help. im gonna go try these square people and hope it all works out.
