Why is my keyboard suddenly shifted to the right and smaller?

I'm running a 1520 on build 10.0.14977.1000.

Out of the blue yesterday (1/4/17), the keyboard in portrait mode shifted to the right and is significantly smaller than it used to be. I did not update the OS, and I checked on app updates and did not see anything that should have caused this.

Does anyone have a solution here? This is pretty annoying.

Might just be the compact view of the KB. Hold the space bar for one second and move your finger around to detach and resize. Drag against lower edge of screen for full size.

That seems to have fixed it. Thanks so much! I've been on Windows Mobile since the 920 first came out and this is the first I have seen of this issue.
