why my lumia 535 got hang

Sometimes when my device screen lock and I press power button to unlock screen it not working no vibration just show black blank screen show dim light and blank again on this situation I put off battery and puts in again .... Problem solved my device is updated i want to know why it happen a blank black screen issues
