Why the Lumia 830 is not the same as the 630/Moto G

Can you think little big.

Because the people you are discussing aren't from India.

So, stop saying thing just on the basis of your country alone.

Keep in mind that its an international forum.

then stop dragging US and Android into every thread

But in the end you would lose, simply because the Windows Phone Store still lacks in quantity and quality compared to Android and iOS.

You could name thousands, but the app gap is currently about a difference of 1 million between Windows Phone and Android/iOS.

So please, the app gap isn't gone yet and won't be for the foreseeable future, add to that the fact that existing apps on the Windows Phone Store don't have nearly as much polish or functionally as most Android/iOS counterparts, you'll be even more sad.
You are the one losing. All the apps I mentioned above are all excellently designed apps that are very important. Your Android can't book train tickets in India. That is a major losing point, considering the fact that all of the Indian populace uses trains.

Yeah right. One million flashlight and calculator apps. Who the heck needs those garbage apps? And people on an average install just about a maximum of 30 apps. So the app argument is an argument in which nobody wins. And if you take on Android in India, you would definitely loose.

The 830 is not the same as a moto G because of one thing, the camera. That 10mp purview is the slimmest pureview sensor Nokia has ever put on their phone. This is also the slimmest lumia ever made. also the metal that goes around the body of the phone too. That's why the phone is so expensive.

exactly i was an android ****** for a while and used to put down windows phone like anything till i saw the lumia 900 which my best friend bought
the camera alone was enough to push me to buy the 720 a few months later when wp8 released and i realised how well made windows phones were
sure they may have lacked some things here and there but it was certainly better made and felt premium to android and is better optimised
nothing comes close to a lumia in terms of photos and battery life

and also lacks piracy and malware dont forget that

Alright, you want to go by numbers. WP loses.
More apps in Android>more possibility an app might crash/lag etc(actually its not a possibility, it does happen)
More apps, means more from the unknown sources, according to you, which ultimately leads to more viruses.
Whereas iOS is the only OS which I accept runs almost all the apps smoothly. Android is not even near. You can talk all you want but ultimately people find ways to screw android as its an open source OS.

95% dont even know what android is exactly
they just buy phones because someone else has it

Exactly, some of my friends do the same thing. & when I bash android as it gets virus or their phone lags, or if I show them my phone, how much smooth it is, they have a priceless expression on their face...

When I had a Windows Phone I had a priceless expression on my face as well when my friends we're playing the latest game or using the latest app which I had to wait for.

I remember owning a Windows Phone during the Flappy Bird craze, and Windows Phone never got an original version of the game my friends would make fun of mine because it was a fake.

They also found it funny that I had 3rd party clients for almost everything.

Well, I buy a phone because it satisfies me, not my friends. Because ultimately the person who is going to use the device is you and not your friends. That said, I've made fun of my Android friends a lot of times when their WhatsApp app says" xyz process has stopped working". They also love playing asphalt games on my phone, and they are mad that they don't have age of empires on Android and the IRCTC app makes them hate their Android phones lol. Tentacles: Enter the mind and assassins creed HD are some of the games that they are annoyed at not having on Android. They also have to pay a yearly 500Rs each year for antivirus, while I don't have to.

I agree, even I bought a WP, because I liked it. All the huge sized games like asphalt 8, gt racing 2 & many other games work well in WP. I have it & very happy that it doesn't lag, with the best graphics of course

frankly i wouldnt rely on blogs like that
its notorious for false stuff and is biased to android

Pick up site of your choice, or dig for sales numbers, come on man, marketshare of Nokia is going down and moto g is popular u cant deny, WP doesnt have a phone to fight Moto G craze, one of my friend told me that he was gonna buy the new motog I told him yeah sure go ahead, coz obviously we dont hv a WP to match that. 630 doesnt have front cam, 720 has 512mb ram, 730 should have been in market by Jan"14

not really, maybe your phone has some software issue or something(rare but not impossible)
try a hard reset
mine can even play san andreas with no lag

There are numerous posts where ppl complained of lag issues and even in reviews, it exists. wp8.1 is slower than wp 8, as for hard reset thats one solution to everything here, any post where you mention an issue the solution given is hard reset, if frequent hard reset are way to go to have a working device then it is an OS issue

then stop dragging US and Android into every thread

I am not the one who bring Android here.
You are the one who keep bringing Android.

And the most funniest part
You know only one thing about Android or say only one thing about Android in Every thread and to every user.

"Android has 90% malware"

Sometimes I wonder are you WP support or a agent from Android antivirus company.

it happens on all platforms once in a while
we may not like it but it usually solves alot of things

just like the older blackberry os where everyone was "shrinking" official releases and making their own roms with zero risk and perfect results
android involves changing roms
ios involves waiting for a bugfix release(ios 8.0.2)
BB10 so far doesnt have anything like this yet though
