Wi-Fi connection issue

I just upgraded to W10 and this little problem came up. I use a clever USB device which allows me to connect with Wi-Fi even tho I don't have the Wi-Fi thingy in my PC. But now, after the W10 installation, the device can't really "see" my Wi-Fi. Could someone help please?

Re: Wi-Fi connection issue

Quite likely you need new drivers. And an uninstall of the old drivers first.

Check the OEM Support site for your device and/or the hardware component. Download new drivers if they can be found... Open Device Manager and expand the component category.

Disable the device and uninstall the drivers for it. Reboot. Run the driver install utility you downloaded from your OEM. Reboot, even if it does not advise you to...

Re: Wi-Fi connection issue

Yes... See the post above yours. Same advice.

All these myriad glitches people are seeing are most often driver issues and the uninstall first step helps root out conflicts with the new drivers. Just make sure you HAVE new drivers before proceeding.
