WiFi Stays on all the time?

Hey WpCentral Forumers!

I updated my Lumia 520 to WP8.1 today, a bit laggy at first... No big deal though.

What worried me however, was the missing setting "Keep WiFi on when the screen is locked" present in WP 8.0. I browsed the forums and Googled this issue, I found that several other members are also having this problem. What I cannot find however, is whether there's a definite solution or a partial one (except turning it manually of course :grin.

Anyone? :eck:

Btw, anyone realised the comma present in the Period menu(IDK what you call this, the popup when you long press the period). It used to have the Question mark directly next to it.

Also, even when the Allow Whatsapp to run even with Battery Saver On option is enabled, Whatsapp isn't really running, am I doing something wrong?

Regarding the WiFi, I think we all concluded it was due to the Nokia firmware not being updated for 8.1 yet, so that option is missing. However, it seems to be stuck ON rather than off.
