Will people say "LOL" at the iPhone 5 and "WHOA" at the Lumia920?

Opinion is fact? Go away.
Mate you gotta chill.

Don't see what the fuss is about opinion is fact, opinion is fact. Read a new line somewhere?

Everyone has an opinion yes. Like the other guy said IHO you are a troll.

IMO you aren't a troll. But you just can't digest that the fact here is, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 both did not survive the hype they used to.

WP or Android or BB or WebOS, for us all it is a win and a loss. The biggest so called innovator is failing to innovate. You know what this means? This is end of the world, 2012. We have maxxed out on what we can do with technology. Mobiles phones are not exciting anymore. Not even iPhone.

Oh wait, you know what was exciting? NOKIA LUMIA 920. Get one if you want! IMO you should get one.

Sorry, the Focus is gone. I'm not bothered at all. YOU quoted my post, I didn't quote yours.
So what do you use, now? I said you're bothered because your posts give that impression that you don't like what's being said on this thread.

Only the Dallas Cowboys, but it has nothing to do with their team or talent.
Dude are you expecting some sore of Internet forum utopia where everybody is happy about everything an nobody critiques or makes fun of anything? Don't tell me you don't hate on other football teams because I will not believe you.

Exactly. That's just it. We love the 920. Apple didn't innovate with iPhone 5. We see that as an opportunity for Microsoft and Nokia. We're just having our day.

It looks like whoever pissed in our cheerios last Wednesday, went and pissed in some cheerios at iMore today.

Sorry, I'm normally use to seeing a "?" when someone is asking a question. Ending with a "." is a statement, not a question. Go Away.
You are stoned probably! Or drunk. I asked you a question. Din't make a statement. You returned that with a question, the same question? Who needs to go away?

Ok. I hate the Patriots and the Steelers and it also has nothing to do with their team or talent, but I don't go to football forums criticizing people for hating on teams. You are doing the same thing, here.

The 4.0 screen is the only "meh" part for me. It's too small for games and web browsing, for me.
O...My.. It's...it's just magical, 4.0 screen and it's LTE. and the camera with that wonderful panorama vie wowzha! all of which has been on both Window Phones and Android for some time now. Granted the extra built in microphones is a nice idea. nothing revolutionary there about it, and OMG the new ipad will come in colors..hello Nokia..

All in all, the 920 is better looking better built has a better camera and comes in many colors....only thing that apple can do is give a promo they rule doing that. Now if Microsoft can get there act together and start saying what WP8 will have and how things work the better off they will be. It's almost as though Nokia is in this alone. just a thought.

Give me one example, just ONE, how a lackluster iPhone or Andriod device is a win for you?

Or are you a fan of MS, and want them to get more business?

Because it benefits our platform. If they're not buying an iPhone or an Android, then they're buying a Windows Phone.

It benefits us because it means:

Microsoft will continue supporting Windows Phone (and won't kill it because of lack of sales).

and

Hopefully increased marketshare, and more apps. I mean, I think most of the important ones are coming already, but there are still some (NFCU, other small banks or credit unions, RootMetrics, and Waze among others) who have both iOS and Android apps, but haven't made a WP app yet because they probably thought that there wouldn't be enough people using the WP app to make developing one worth their while.

Plus, I really want Nokia to stay around.

I don't think MS see themselves as #1 or #2. They'll be happy with the 3rd spot. MS has too much invested to drop out. That's why when people get all hype, and the sales numbers are released, MS and WP7/8 gets bashed.

The app situation is something MS can handle in a heartbeat. They have billions at their disposal, I don't the devs for the Instagram app, for example, turning down a bag of money from MS if MS just shows up at their doorstep and say, "We want this app by next month".

I guess I'm with winterfang, I'm not a Nokia fan, if their doors shut, I wouldn't shed a tear.

I don't mind being third, but I'd like to see us at least have a double digit marketshare.

Well I think they're taking care of all the big apps like Instagram or Mint, but what about the little ones? I mean the NFCU app I think has mobile check deposit, but the app is only available to Android and iOS. I don't think Microsoft really cares about that (but for a huge bank like Chase they would). Same thing for RootMetrics. People aren't begging for that like they are for Instagram. Smaller apps like these probably won't come until marketshare increases.

I don't know. I just like Nokia because they put out phones with solid reception and call quality. Something that apparently has stopped being important ever since data and apps became more important than calling. Plus, I like their designs and the build quality of my old Nokia E71 is superb.
