WP users might be impatient and flame Aul and Belfiore for "delaying" the preview but for the most part, we get along with each other well. We're all in the same boat after all.

Because they know the WP community is really apt to screaming DELAY if they don't meet their hard deadline so it's preferable to keep it under wraps.
