Windows 10 IS A DISASTER! My Task Bar seizes again!

Is there anything that can stop the dreaded Windows 10 Task Bar error from recurring? The task bars on both of our lap tops have randomly seized on several occasions. This has included the Start button and all Microsoft Apps pinned on the task bar losing functionality. Different updates (reloads) appear to correct the problem but only temporarily. After a month of respite it has just hit again. All of the fixes listed on the various forums have been tried and have actually made matters worse. Just when are Gates team going to sort this properly?

Out of curiosity what fixes have you tried?
