Windows 10 mobile Lumia 640 official Update battery drain

Don't know about battery drain on Windows 10 as my L640 unlocked UK (CV) is still awaiting the update, but in the past and on my Win 10 L930 the internet explorer/edge appeared to be draining battery, not sure about Skype as I didn't look in that much depth and particularly on my L640 seemed to work itself out.

How did you upgrade on lumia 640? It is still not available

Windows store. Upgrade Advisor. Install. And you'll find out.

I tried all of that but the battery is still draining on mild usage. I don't use skype or youtube

Are you 110% sure your Skype Messaging being logged out and un-linked?
Several have mentioned it, and it's pretty critical, this app is really in need of some work, before prime-time, IMO.

My 950XL will do all day+, at moderate use, and have 30-50% left, but if I enable Skype Messaging (this is NOT the regular Skype app), I'm lucky if I can make it 6-8 hours, it's pretty bad.

Glance is bad too, if you have it on all the time, but these messaging apps that are half-baked (unfortunately the built-in Skype Messaging app is here too) are really, really tough on battery life, almost to the point of ridiculousness...
