Today during the WinHEC conference in Shenzhen, China Microsoft has reveled a definitive roadmap for how different versions of Windows will be upgraded to Windows 10. Windows 7 and 8 have support, but Windows RT is left out in the cold with no upgrade path to Windows 10.

Many of us already knew this is the case, as Microsoft has been quoted saying they plan to have an update for RT with "some" Windows 10 features. So this is for the people who have for whatever reason have been "hopeful". I'll admit, If I weren't planning to replace my Surface RT with a Surface Pro 4 (if/when announeced), I MAY be a tiny bit upset....maybe.
RIP RT.
