Got a question. And forgive the ignorance.

But WM 6.1 is the standard version, right? Is it a planned upgrade for phones using WM 6 or just a new version that will be on newer phones?

If it's a planned upgrade for existing phones, any idea which ones will be affected? Moto Q9? BJII?

I've concentrated so long on the Pro version that I'm trying to play catch up to understand the Standard version.

A WM6.1 for PPC and Smartphone will be announced (supposedly) in 2 weeks, but its release on devices or providing updates is up to the manufacturers. Just look how long Blackjack owners had to wait for 6.0.

supposedly wm6.1 is required for Microsoft Systems Center Mobile Device whatever whatever, which is due out in summer. BlackJack II and Treo 750 were both mentioned by name to be compatible at launch. And BGR already leaked a Moto Q9h with 6.1 on it.

....so maybe it won't be as bad? crosses fingers

bumpity bumpity...the last I recall was hearing or reading or imagining something about WM 6.1 being available for BJ II in July. That has come and gone. Is this still contemplated? Just wondering.

The ATT update for the Tilt is to be released next week so I would imagine that the BJII maybe early to mid September. Just a guess......

I can remember when WM 6 was released, postponed, re-announced, postponed, right around the corner, postponed, and finally released. I've learned to accept the dates associated with releases to be "target" dates, hoping they actually appear somewhere close to the "target".

imaging

does anyone know a way to imagie a blackjack 2 with the WM6.1 OS? Any free software or something, have some important things that I need to keep, and want to have a image in case bad things happen.
