IE 11 seems to lag/stutter if it has to close the last open tab. It used to smooth on wp8, but now the shrink-away animation stops halfway....1 second lag...and page-flips in the blank new tab. It doesn't even matter if the tabs are empty and IE is the only running app, it still stops.

Anyone else seeing this? Phone is a lumia 520, it was hr-update-hr-reinstall all apps so it's clean.

Since updating to Cyan on my L920 it keeps restarting randomly, it didn't before the update. I think it is something to do with an app rather than Cyan itself but its a bit frustrating :/

I've got a problem with the normal wp 8.1 alarm. It won't always make a sound when set, the only way to make sure it wakes me is by turning it on and off again before I go to sleep. When I searched the forum I saw this was a bug in the preview however has anyone else been experiencing this as well in the official wp 8.1? Lumia 925 on the official wp 8.1

Lumia 920 running fairly hot on normal use since Cyan and update 1 before Cyan i never had This before Cyan (black and update 1) its the top/head of the phone on the backside runs hotter then normal.... (just browsing, email, whatsapp.. Not even playing games)

Hey guys, first post here. i bought an att lumia 920 off of my sisters boyfriend and i ahd to replace the screen with an unauthentic replacement. when i upgraded to 8.1, the touchscreen doesnt work. all of the buttons on the side work but not the capacitive buttons or any screen movements. Can anyone help me please?
should also mentiopn i have tried many soft resets and am pretty proliferat with android phones.

Also performance and stability on the 920 dropped drastic since Cyan on browsing and app using its slower then before on black/update 1.. Plus the running hot issues..

Anyone having any music issues with 8.1? I don't have my music working through the cloud. I prefer to have my music on my device. I am syncing playlists from my PC to my phone through the Windows Phone 8 sync tool. I go through the process and some of my playlists show up and some do not. I cannot figure out a pattern as to why this is not working.

I really wish Microsoft would fire every single person in the Xbox music team and start over. Xbox music is truly a piece of ****.

It was causing issues with my phone so I uninstalled it. This was when it first came out though. Just keep I mind if you choose to uninstall it you have to turn kid corner back on to remove all of it (weird I know, but it works).

What the hell has happened to my once wicked and beautiful Lumina 920. Since the 8.1 and cyan update my start screen is blank for a few seconds when ever its unlocked then the tiles appear one by one and the same when scrolling up and down only on the start screen and it seems to judder along and is not as smooth as it was and should be, scrolling everywhere else is fine, and double tap to unlock has turned into treble, or quadruple tap to unlock and its p*****g me off. Now I have tried all hard and soft resets so don't tell me to try that, I even factory reset my phone as if it were new and took it from a fresh start without using any backups. Updated again 8.1 and cyan put all my apps back one buy one , and guess what,,,,, still the friggin same. I'm due an upgrade the beginning of December hope I don't get the same sh*t going on there, but seriously I love my 920 its been perfect from the day I had it until now, what else can I do, I'm not gonna take a hammer to it, the thought never crossed my mind.

But nothing like my Lumia 925, where I can't use the microphone, only for calls

My Email accounts have stopped working both Outlook and Gmail. When I go to Settings -> Email, it doesn't go in and comes back to Settings page. Any idea why?

Hi guys,

I got my Lumia 925 2months ago, Since i'm microsoft-technology developer, I found these bug/missfunctions in WP8.1 on my lumia 925. I don't know where should i report them to official team, so i post it all here:

1) Auto-Brightness is responds too quickly to environment's light. If i switch the phone between my hands, Or change the angle of phone, screen brightness changes wrongly. Iphone change the brightness in a some seconds timewindow and average it on that timeframe.

2) WP8.1 don't use battery to it's last drops. My phone shuts down when battery reach 3%. Also i should mention that WP is very battery draining OS although it is very light.

3) Notification center buttons is not rotating with phone rotation.

4) Notification center buttons can not be customized (Added some more buttons i need)

5) When I am in a fullscreen application, and a notification comes from another App, there is not way to hide the notification right away, and i should bear and wait until it wipes out from screen. For example if you are playing a game, this notification can cover top of your screen and cannot be closed.

6) Sometimes when i press the Power button, it goes to Camera instead of turning off the phone! (I dont know if it's hardware problem or software or even it is just for me!)

These are from my first months experience. If you know where can i send it for official WP team, please tell me or do it please.

Any thought on these items?

I have a L920. I do not have the developer preview. I updated to Cyan/8.1 and everything was working fine. However, for the past 5 days my battery has been draining very fast. For example, it goes from 100% to almost 60% in an hour. I have to keep it constantly charged, or it will completely drain within 3 hours. I have checked battery saver, but no app is being used much, and many are disabled from running in the background. I have also done 2 soft resets, but to no avail.

I have not installed anything on my phone in quite a while. So, I know the culprit has to be the cyan/8.1 update. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this problem?

The latest small update on the dev preview seems to have fixed the mms problem on my 920

I have a bug updating Windows Phone 8.1.1 to the newest developer Preview. My Device is a Lumia 1520 Country Variant with german ROM.
I still have Lumia Black on my device until Microsoft fixes the BitLocker bug.
When I restarted my Lumia after downloading the update this appeared on the Screen:

(0% complete)
If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error: PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED



After resetting ,via volume up+lock button, two times, the update seems to proceed normal. I will update this post when the update is done.

Update: After resetting the DVP updated normally.

Yup. IE 11 on WP8.1 is laggy in general. I hope they fix it soon...
