One thing, on the glance screen, the time moves around, so it won't stay neatly in the black square you left for it.

If you use the "peek" option, the time will always be in the right spot. It's definitely a picture to be used with the "peek" option; just like mine.

The effect is almost like a black and white painting made carelessly with a thick brush.
The lower area of the picture is darker to show the time and notifications.

Is this a US only app?

Don't know, but I couldn't find it in the store from my phone or from the web. I had to use the direct web link and install the app from the web: Glance Background | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

I've been having a lot of fun with this app over the past day, or so. So I have made quite a few of these, with many more planned and on the way. Sat down to take photos of a handful of my better ones, and about halfway through, found myself wishing I had another Nokia to take the photos with. The camera in my poor Android tab, simply could not reproduce the rich colors, and simply how gorgeous most of these turned out, displayed on my Lumia 925 Glance Screen. And some of these really are drop dead gorgeous on my phone. Oh well, in the future, my L925 will be my backup phone, while some other Nokia will take it's place as my goto device. Then I will be able to snap quality Glance Screen shots with either device.
