I have a lot of music that isn't working in Groove. It's music that I ripped a long time ago, or purchased elsewhere (Amazon, iTunes, etc). In Groove it shows and error next to the song and says I need a music pass to listen to it. What a load of crap! I spoke to someone at the Microsoft store yesterday and he said it's because Groove isn't recognizing the copyright information in the track, it's supposed to help crack down on piracy. Well whoopty do. I own the music, purchased it legally and just because Groove can't figure it out I'm screwed. Is there any way to alter or access the copyright information in the file to make Groove recognize it? I'll be honest too here, some of my music may have been downloaded for free (back in the Napster days) but those files play fine!! HA! Cut down on piracy my @$$! It's the music I actually PAID for it's having problems with! Go figure!
