Why won't my HTC M8 update to 10166?

HTC M8 won't update to 10166

I've tried multiple times to update my M8 to build 10166 and nothing. it keeps failing and I'm part of the slow ring. I even tried to roll back the M8 and nothing happens after getting it to the initial boot screen. when i try to download 10166 it sits on 0% for about 2-3 minutes then fails. help its not fair I cant start over and i cant move forward

Weird; I just installed 10166 tonight, finished about an hour ago.

Maybe try leaving the Insider program, then rejoin I and choose your build and let it try again?

This is the first W10 build I've ran and aside from the Start screen loading bug (which corrected itself), and secondary apps being unable to load, it's a very stable, responsive build.

so i tried leaving and joining again nothing new. still wont let me wipe it clean using the recovery tool
