Does it make sense to buy ATIV tab3 in 2015?

It doesn't come with the baytrail processor, it's memory doesn't support trim,

But

Wacom s-pen,
It has a screen 10.1,
And full MS office 2013.

Is the hardware it comes with capable of heavy note taking with MS onenote with frequent lecture snaps and video recording?

I would only buy it if the price was right. (read: cheap)

I see Wacom-equipped Surface Pro 1 and 2 prices dropping (works with the S-Pen actually) since they're aging.
Dell has some nice stylus-equipped tablets in the Venue line, but the styli are proprietary.
ASUS has a VivoTab 8 Note which has Wacom, so know there's more options out there.

Its not going to power through games and stuff, but my dad's similarly equipped tablet hasn't really disappointed in terms of light web browsing and video. I think it'll perform OK with Office, just not with heavy stuff like photo editing and whatnot is my assessment.
