8.1 allows searching of text messages. Good but not perfect...

I am getting back to working on an app I took a break from for a couple months and downloaded the new SDK. Looking through it, its nice to see that you can search your text messages.

As you can see, as you type, it starts to show texts that contain what you're typing.

Nice. But could be a bit better. Perhaps they should have added a Search in each text message thread. Say you text a lot of people but only want to search texts youve had with a particular person. They should've added a Search option in each thread, which I see no option for.

Not really much of a dev. Its my first app and nothing more than a sound board app from a tv show to get my feet wet.

Aha after a few months i might work on my own app.. First app that is.. For now still taking classes (youtube) lol
