Good luck. All of my music has album art embedded in the files themselves and it still doesn't show up in Xbox Music.

They got rid of the share button! I can't email songs anymore. :-(

They didn't get rid of the share feature. You have to hold your finger on the song itself for 2-3 seconds and then a pane drops down, and hit share. I just tried it.

BTW, I was playing around with some meta-data things and got some mixed results, but the whole app still seems rather confused. I have a band called Allen-Lande which has 3 albums, and 1 album shows up under a slightly different name, and the other 2 are together. I deleted the one album and resynced it, and it appeared in the right spot. However, I have a German metal band called Brainstorm which has the wrong artist background, so I deleted all the albums and put them back on there. Unfortunately, the artist background is still there and now most those album covers are missing, whereas before they weren't. Now I'm afraid to resync anything in fear of the album art disappearing.

So, the music app on WP 8.1 shows me a playlist containing 808 songs. When I try to delete it, the app crashes. It also crashes when I try to enter the multi item selection mode on any screen in the app. This is getting really annoying.

The issue is the cached album art, XBM extracts the album art from the MP3, and puts a copy in the hidden \Music\Albums folder on the phone. I haven't found a way to clear out the cache, except to reset the phone :unhappy: Even if you delete all your music from the phone and XBM reports back there are no songs, the cached art is still stored. When you put the music back on the phone (or even the SD card) it never updates the cached images.... Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhh!!!

I would recommend putting a couple of votes for Button for manual rebuilding of Music cache whtin the app

At least it works now before added music wouldn't show up! I have though noticed a Bluetooth issue crackling occasionally. Didn't do it on wp8.0

As he stated earlier, no, it will be paying. And frankly, it's a good thing. Application/Software/Web development is a whole lot of work and this app, from the screenshot he posted, seems to be pretty complete. It's only normal he get rewarded for that work.
